«Ungvarsky»
Welcome to Ungvarskiy Hostel, this beautifully designed small hostel is
located near the city center of Uzhgorod and was opened onl in January
2008. Hostel is only 5 km from Slovakian and 27 km from Hungarian
borders. Our unique ethno-hostel is located 3.75 km from the Airport,
1.92km from railway and bus stations (we offer transfers to hostel),
and 900m to our historical centre in Uzhgorod.
There is only 25 km or 30 minute drive from Uzhgorod to the beautiful
Carpathian Mountains, for winter skiing or summer hiking or just
relaxing in the beautiful mountain meadows with their breath-taking
views.

The hostel offers:
- 41 moderately priced beds in 5 rooms (hostel also offer
hotel-type suites and apartments), most of which have free WiFi
wireless internet connection.
- Conference and seminar facilities for up to 150 persons,
fully equipped.
- A beautifully designed restaurant with a traditional feel in a
contemporary informal athmosphere, open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner, serving traditional, beautifully prepared dishes of the region,
as well as a large selection of wines from the Uzhgorod-Carpathian
region, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at very reasonable
prices.
- Fitness center of 400 square meters, boxing ring, yoga hall,
- big traditional Spa Complex, with its own famous mineral springs
for drinking, spa treatments and baths,

- An ancient Ungvarskiy underground steam baths complex,
